It’s all go at Heroes of Mobile Towers. We have so much to tell you, but first, let’s start with this year’s Innovation on the Fringe event.
You may remember last year’s event which attracted over 100 visitors and a wide selection of start-ups showcasing their latest wares. Well, we’re doing the same again this year. And we’d like to go bigger if we can. We already have a waiting list of people wanting to come and right now, the only tickets left are for sponsors and demo companies. This is where you come in! We’re asking three things of you please…
1. Show us what you’ve got!
If you would like to demo your app or service, please fill in the form so we can consider you. This is not an investment pitch, it’s more of a show ‘n tell (although there will be investors in the room, I expect). You can be at really early stage, or you can be a fully-fledged service. We don’t mind. We just want to see interesting services and meet interesting people. There is no charge for this and it’s a great way to kick off your week in Barcelona. All you have to do is fill in this simple form.
2. Sponsor us!
We had a lovely sponsor lined up and all agreed a few weeks ago and they’ve suddenly come back to us and had to pull out suddenly for internal reasons that neither party can do much about sadly. That leaves us with a bit of a financial hole. We’re just looking to cover costs for the venue, equipment hire and the catering (a bit of tapas, some wine, beer and soft drinks). The rest of the event is run entirely on a voluntary basis. Of course, if we can raise more sponsorship, we can go for a bigger venue and we can feed and water more people. So it’s up to you! This event needs a lot of people to make it work. If you think you could spare us some time that afternoon to help on the registration desk, set up the AV, do a recording, take some photos, keep the demo companies to time and more, then please let us know.
