New event – Device Labs: What are they good for?

device labs eventHow do you build the perfect digital product?

Join academic and industry experts to discuss the current landscape in mobile application testing.  In an age where emulators and cloud testing are gaining fast ground, we’ll debate the pros and cons of physical device labs including

  • What best practices should guide product testing?
  • Practical impacts such as time and cost efficiency?
  • How the advancement of the Internet of Things influences the direction of mobile testing?

Come and join what promises to be a lively debate, and contribute your views to a White Paper on Mobile Testing by leading global university, University College London, with support from the CTIA.

UCL is particularly interested in meeting people who design or build apps and have a requirement for testing (at any level) whether you’re an individual developer or from a larger company or agency. All views welcome.

We’ll be serving snacks and drinks (soft drinks, wine or coffee) and for those wanting to head to Swedish Beers afterwards, it’s less than 5 minutes walk away.

The venue is just a few minutes walk from either Liceu or Placa Catalunya Metro stations. The full address will be given when you confirm your place.

The event is free to attend, but places are limited as this is a round-table discussion style event. RSVP required so we know how much food and drink to provide for you.

This event is brought to you by University College London, Heroes of the Mobile Fringe and the CTIA.
